Hospice Workshops and Education

Let Us Guide Your Through Death and Dying

LIVING WITH DYING
Wilshire Hospice offers a community workshop titled “Living With Dying: Meaningful Support for Each Other and Ourselves at Life’s End.”

Living with Dying is a time for lively, meaningful discussion and exploring ways to soulfully engage and connect at the end of life. During our time together, we will explore what to expect at life’s end, practicing the art of being present, the needs of the dying and learning to honor our own mortality.

Our Living with Dying Workshop is offered to the community as a time of education and personal growth. Our goal is to facilitate your journey into the rich soulfulness this time of life can hold. In Hospice work, we find that even a little bit of education can significantly help with navigating this challenging time of life. We offer Living with Dying in that spirit. No particular background or experience is needed to attend. You need only bring your curiosity and heart.

HOSPICE VOLUNTEER TRAININGS
Wilshire Hospice offers volunteer opportunities and trainings for those who would like to volunteer with Hospice patients and their families. Join us for our four-part hospice volunteer training series and connect with our team of clinicians, counselors, therapists and coordinators who work together with you to provide a meaningful opportunity to connect and support hospice patients in our county.

This volunteer opportunity is meaningful, flexible and for many, has been life changing.

We host Volunteer Trainings and Living with Dying Educational Workshops several times a year. Contact Us for upcoming dates, or check back soon.

Please let us know if you would like to bring the Living with Dying workshop to your community, service organization, business or faith community.
