As a patient of Wilshire Hospice, you control the type of care you wish to receive. Our care is designed to be specific to your wishes and to do everything possible to enhance your quality of life.
Wilshire Hospice provides a patient and family care team of medical professionals, therapists, social workers, counselors and volunteers.
Your Wilshire Hospice patient and family care team provides services wherever you call home – home, hospital, skilled nursing facility of assisted living facility.
Your personal care team may include:
- Physicians
- RN/Case Managers
- Medical Social Workers
- Home Health Aides
- Spiritual Counselors
- Therapists (physical, occupational, speech)
- Therapeutic Musicians
- Pharmacy Services, Medical Equipment and Medical Supplies
Volunteers are also an integral part of the team. They may provide:
- Companionship
- Caregiver Respite
- Help with paperwork, bill paying, etc.
- Light housekeeping
- Playing Games
- Small Household Jobs
- Pet Care
