Since the mid 1980's, annual celebrations of life have been held during the holiday season by hospice and community organizations throughout the United States. In the spirit of this national memorial event, Wilshire Hospice and Hospice of San Luis Obispo (Hospice SLO) are pleased to co-host four Light Up A Life Ceremonies in San Luis Obispo County.

Please join us for a time to remember and celebrate those close to us that are no longer with us. In addition to honoring those who have passed, this event will offer community resources that assist in coping with the extra challenges of the holidays for people who have lost a loved one. We invite you to purchase a light in memory, or in honor of a friend or loved one. Additionally, you may light a candle during a ceremony as a symbol of remembrance.
